Island Pointe Building Company is named for where we live and work: an island on Lake Orion. Owner Ed Sabol has spent 26 years building in Michigan, and most of that within sight of water — which is exactly the experience a lakefront project demands. Seawalls, setbacks, soil that slopes to a shoreline: we've built on all of it.
We're an award-winning custom home builder and remodeling contractor serving Lake Orion, Oakland County and the surrounding communities — custom homes, whole-home renovations, lakefront structures, kitchens and baths. Licensed in Michigan and Florida, fully insured, and small on purpose: Ed personally oversees every project, so the person who gave you the number is the person on your site.
Our subcontractors are local crews we've trusted for years, and it shows in the work — clients ask us back to homes we built to add the next chapter. Bring us the lot, the sketch or the house that no longer fits, and we'll walk it with you.
