I am going to pile onto the accolades that I see here for the Lake Orion Bike & Adventure Co, both for their outstanding products and customer service. I just bought a Cannondale Synapse 3 carbon road bike, which was shipped here for assembly and delivery. (I'm a loyal Cannondale cyclist and wanted to replace my CAAD 9 with a lighter, sleeker model with e-shifting, hydraulic disc brakes, and SmartSense.) Nathaniel completed the build out perfectly and Mike (the owner) decided he needed to own this bike after seeing mine! The entire crew at this bike shop are super helpful...so don't feel like you have to be a hard-core cyclist to walk in their door! Whether you're getting your first bike, 10th bike, or upgrading your 14-year-old bike like I did, get over to Lake Orion! Mike and his crew will listen and suggest without the hard sell. (P.S....The Synapse has been named Road Bike of the Year for good reason. It rides like a dream!)

Nathaniel did an outstanding job on my bike. He installed a new chain and grips,made my dropperpost usable again. Raised the handlebars for superior position & sizing, made helpful recommendations, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I needed some gear oil, so I stopped in this full service local bike shop. They have all the accessories you need in addition to some great bikes! Mike helped me select the correct oil, in addition to guiding me to the best front and back lights for my bikes. Excellent experience and service today. I had my bike rear sprocket repairs done this afternoon after experiencing problems on the paint creek trail. Bike tech Nathanial was friendly knowledgeable and fixed my bike within a half hour of diagnosing the problem. I will be brining my bike back for all future maintenance , and will be recommending other members of the Rochester Hills 739rs bike club to do the same.

I came in as a first-timer after struggling with a DIY shifter install on my 13-year-old Diamondback. Called ahead and spoke with Mike, who was friendly and told me to come in and that Nathaniel would take care of me. Both Mike and Nathaniel were equally welcoming and helpful. While Nathaniel worked on my bike, I hung out with Mike talking about the shop, their involvement in local community events, and programs they run, including a bike donation option, which I'm planning to use. The store itself is clean, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time in. Nathaniel did great work all around. A thorough tune-up, installed all the accessories I picked up, and got my bike shifting as well as it could with the mix of older components and newer parts. Prices for both service and parts were fair, and they threw in a 10% discount on top of that. Lake Orion is lucky to have a shop like this. I'll definitely be back and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Great Bike Shop I've been there several times since they opened. The owner and whole team are really great to work with. Very knowledgeable about their products, (e.g., Pros/Cons of the different options, what's the right choice for different types of riders, etc.), also accommodating with doing custom orders/builds. Reasonable prices, a good selection of quality road, trail, mountain and e-bikes. They also have an excellent service department which I've used 3 times this summer alone and each time it was fast work at very reasonable rates. Heck, they even do rentals. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Finally found a shop that rents gravel bikes! The bike was in excellent condition and Paula set up the bike perfectly with my pedals and measurements. Everyone was super friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to ride. Took the bike to northern Michigan and explored up there too. A great enhancement to my Michigan trips without having to travel with my own bike!

These guys were the only place open on a Sunday! I needed a new saddle for my bike as it was given to me and it was not a good fit for me. These guys were super helpful about different saddles and the prices were on par with Meijer on simple stuff. Please check this place out if you haven’t!

I bought a phone accessory for my bike at this new place in downtown Lake Orion! They have bikes, accessories, and a shop for set up and repairs. The owner was very personable and knowledgeable about all things bicycles. They will definitely get my bike business!

They did a great job fixing my rear rim on my e bike. it was done in a timely fashion and the price was reasonable I recommend them for any bike repairs

Finally found a shop that rents gravel bikes! The bike was in excellent condition and Paula set up the bike perfectly with my pedals and measurements. Everyone was super friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to ride. Took the bike to northern Michigan and explored up there too. A great enhancement to my Michigan trips without having to travel with my own bike!

These guys were the only place open on a Sunday! I needed a new saddle for my bike as it was given to me and it was not a good fit for me. These guys were super helpful about different saddles and the prices were on par with Meijer on simple stuff. Please check this place out if you haven’t!

I had an outstanding experience at Lake Orion Bike & Adventure Company! I stopped in while shopping for a new mountain bike, and Nathanial and Mike were fantastic to work with. They were patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. I was able to test several bikes over two days—including a few more than once—until I found the perfect fit. The location is also perfect, with easy access to the Paint Creek Trail and Lake Orion Village for test rides. Highly recommend them for bike purchases and repairs—I’ll definitely be back!
