It started with a simple, ugly discovery: it takes minutes for a decoy profile marked 14 years old to get an adult in the DMs. Jake and CJ decided that deserved more than a shrug. They learned the laws, bought cameras, and built Pred Task Force — decoy conversations, documented meetups, and every file handed to the county sheriff.
The first man they ever caught turned out to be a lifelong registered offender. Since then the work has put them in front of police departments across Michigan and down to Georgia, landed arrests on their casework, and drawn a documentary crew that's been filming their story for a release later this year.
They call themselves investigative journalists because that's what the work is: verify, document, publish. The catches are free on YouTube because awareness is the mission; the uncut episodes live on Locals for $5 because gas, hotels, and hard drives aren't free.
