Repairs & Restoration
Ring sizing, soldering, refinishing, rhodium plating, prong retipping, stone tightening and replacement, pearl restringing — up to full antique restorations.
Almont, Michigan · Family owned & run
Ring sizing to full heirloom redesign, hand-carved wax to CAD — Paul Randazzo has been at the bench since 1999, and the counter at 110 S. Main is staffed by the people in his wedding photos. Bring the piece, and bring the story that comes with it.

What we do
Quoted at the counter, finished at the bench in back, and checked before it leaves. Book any of these in under a minute.

Ring sizing, soldering, refinishing, rhodium plating, prong retipping, stone tightening and replacement, pearl restringing — up to full antique restorations.

Work directly with Paul from sketch to hand-carved wax cast or CAD image. You approve every step before anything is made — and your own gold and stones are welcome.

Grandma's diamonds don't belong in a drawer. Stones and gold from the pieces you inherited, reset into something you'll actually wear — the story stays, the setting changes.
We buy gold and do our own refining — no middleman taking a cut between your pieces and the payout. Verbal appraisals are always free, and the scale is on the counter.
Insurance appraisals at $75 for the first piece and $50 after, GIA-trained diamond grading on the 4Cs. Not sure it needs the paperwork? A verbal appraisal costs nothing.
Batteries, band sizing, crystal replacement, stem and crown repair, pressure testing, full overhauls — from everyday watches to the one your father left you.
Custom, the Randazzo way
Bring the idea, the Pinterest board, or the drawer of inherited pieces. The first conversation is free and unhurried.
A hand-carved wax cast or CAD image, approved by you before anything is made. No surprises at the reveal.
Sentimental metal and diamonds can live in the new piece — and what you already own comes off the final cost.
Finished at the bench in back, checked stone by stone, and handed over the counter — usually to somebody trying not to cry.
Engagements & heirlooms
A customer had Paul fold her mother's and grandmother's diamonds into her own wedding set. Another turned her grandmother's emeralds into earrings she wore down the aisle. A third had a 70-year-old ring rebuilt to wear every day.
That's the work this counter is known for: engagement rings designed from scratch, and inherited pieces given a second life without losing the first one.

From the bench
Real customer pieces on Paul's bench — halos, resets, eternity bands and split shanks, dust and all.

What Almont says
Cannot recommend randazzo jewelers enough. Paul was so understanding and compassionate when I got my wedding stuck on my finger and he had to cut it off. Then when I came back he helped us find a beautiful ring and explained the history behind the piece. Truly a fantastic place with the best people.
I absolutely love my new ring that Paul designed. I had him combine my wedding ring with my mother and grandmother's diamonds into one beautiful set. I did not like the idea of storing them in a drawer.
Purchased my wife's engagement ring and our wedding rings from Randazzo's. My wife also had some emeralds from her grandmother made into ear rings for our wedding day and everything was flawless. Paul is very easy to work with, the quality of work is amazing. I would highly recommend Randazzo for anybody looking for any sort of jewelry.
They did a beautiful job repairing my silver sugar bowl. I went back again to have my Grandma's wedding ring sized to fit my pinkie. Looking forward to being able to wear it and not have it fly off my finger.
I purchased my 1st granddaughter a pair of pierced earrings. I explained what I was looking for and Paul helped me pick out EXACTLY what I was looking for. He is my new jeweler! Nice, patient and very knowledgeable. I'm recommending Randazzo Jewelers to all I know!!!
Nice family owned business! They were not pushy and very patient as I picked out what I wanted. With minimal details to describe what I was looking for, they were able to point me in the right direction. Super happy with the final look and feel. Will definitely go back for all my jewelry needs.
I left my 70 year old ring in there hands. It needed some repair and sizing and a much long overdue cleaning! It is beautiful again! And fixed perfectly!!
Stopped in to find replacement earring and was immediately welcomed by Maria. She was so great to work with; listened to what I was looking for and provided options. Seamless visit start to finish. Only jeweler I will shop at.
Highly recommend. Have had a ring made up and some pearls restrung here with quick turn around time and very fair pricing. Very fair and honest. Will be coming back often!
They have the most beautiful jewelry. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The owners go over and beyond to satisfy their customers. The repair work they did for me, makes my ring look better than the day I bought it from another jeweler 10 years ago.
I love the hometown feeling you get from Randazzo's. They make me feel right at welcome and never in a pushy way. They let you look around at your pace. They have beautiful pieces and lots to choose from. I will be coming back very soon.
I wanted to find a family jeweler to support with my business and several recommendations later I ended up at Randazzo. Paul was wonderful to work with in redesigning my wedding ring. Very helpful, knowledgeable, honest and kind. I couldn't be happier with the results!!
I wanted a watchband adjusted and was shopping for a cocktail ring and wanted to get my ears pierced. I accomplished all that in one (1) visit in less then an hour. The service was great, friendly and I highly recommend Randazzo Jewelers.
I recently stopped in to have my wedding ring repaired. The kind folks at Randazzo Jewelry took excellent care of me. They were able to repair my ring right away and I also found a beautiful set of earrings for my Granddaughter. What a nice store this is! Excellent customer service and jewelry.
The family
Paul Randazzo got into jewelry the honest way: a lifelong love of rocks, minerals and fossils, and a high-school co-op job at a jewelry store his parents drove him to. That was 1999, and he never left the bench.
He married Melissa in 2008 — she runs the office and everything online — and when it came time to open their own store, the town was never in question. Almont is where they shop, where their six kids go to school, and where the counter gets staffed by family.
A referral from a customer is the biggest compliment.
