How a match is made

(a)Every attorney is measured separately in each kind of case they take. A strong divorce record says nothing about a truck crash, so it counts for nothing there.
(b)Three figures rank a match: how many cases like yours they have closed, how many ended in the client's favor, and how long they took.
(c)Only closed matters from the last five years count, checked against court records and refreshed every quarter.

What can move a ranking

(a)Your county, because a local attorney knows the local courts.
(b)Your language, because nobody should explain the worst week of their life through an interpreter if they don't have to.
(c)Nothing else. Attorneys cannot pay for placement, and a match is never sponsored.

Who sees your file

(a)Nothing you write or upload is shown to any attorney until you choose one of your matches.
(b)The other side's name is used for one thing: ruling out any attorney with a conflict before you see them.
