About Universal
Two businesses, one name on the van.
Rent To Own in Big Rapids, Cadillac and Greenville · Rent It All in Cadillac and Rockford/Greenville
Universal Rent It All has rented equipment from 34 Rd in Cadillac since 1999, and calls itself one of the largest equipment rental companies in Northern Michigan: general construction equipment, industrial tools, pumps, power generation, trench shoring, scaffolding, and remediation and restoration gear, for homeowners, contractors, businesses and municipalities.
A second yard now runs on 14 Mile Rd NE outside Rockford, serving Greenville, Rockford, Cedar Springs, Belding and Howard City, with the same fleet shared between the two.
Universal Rent To Own is the same family's store side: furniture, appliances, electronics, mowers and scooters on weekly or monthly payments, from stores in Big Rapids, Cadillac and Greenville. Big Rapids customers have been writing about the same thing for eight years: people who explain everything before you sign, and who work with you when money gets tight.
