Lakeview Paylake is the lake itself carrying on: when Pop's Paylake closed its run in July 2026, the property's owner took over operations that same week and reopened the gate on July 23rd — family owned and operated ever since.
A day here is simple: pay cash at the gate, pick a shaded spot on the bank, and fish all day on one ticket. The shack keeps bait, tackle, snacks, and cold drinks; the scale by the shack settles every braggin'-rights argument; and tagged-fish contests and tournaments get announced on the Facebook page as they're set.
The pond is heavily stocked with catfish in every size — and the 12-pound rule means the true giants never leave the water. Hook one over 15 pounds, weigh it in, and your next trip is free.

They are biting !!!! One 10 lbs....the other 12. Come get your spot! Have Brandon's Monkey Dough, Jungle Juice, Spring Hooks, misc tackle, night crawlers, and chicken livers available at fish shack. Cold drinks and tasty snacks available too.
UPDATE: Just spoke to fish hauler, he will be here between 12 and 4 am on Friday night to stock 500 lbs into the Lake. I will video the stock. Gate opens at 7 am on Saturday. Hope to see you soon!
