From one PVS-14 in a basement to a clean room of our own

Terrace Unity Solutions began as a concept in 2018–2019, driven by the need for a true client-focused night vision manufacturer and service provider — one that supported not only law enforcement and military professionals, but also educated the civilian market on the capabilities and options available to them. The goal was simple: deliver unmatched expertise, provide transparent information, and offer products to the public without ever compromising quality.
For several years, market volatility and rapid changes among major distributors and suppliers kept the project in a prolonged development stage. That changed on December 17, 2024. With encouragement from friends, family, and a shared desire to elevate the night vision and thermal space, Derek Arnold and I — with the support of Ty Morgan — made the decision to officially turn Terrace Unity Solutions into a fully realized business.
My passion for night vision began nearly a decade ago, sparked by a pair of Gen 1 Russian binoculars a friend bought from a surplus shop years back. That curiosity quickly grew into a deep enthusiasm for the technology. With a background in competitive shooting, competitive airsoft, and a long-standing love for firearms — particularly the clone world — I was able to blend historical appreciation with technical knowledge to lay the foundation for what would eventually become our company.
Drawing on several years of experience in the automotive industry, I watched how large manufacturers often failed their customers. Learning from those shortcomings helped us craft a business model that avoids those pitfalls and strengthens the customer experience at every step. From those lessons, Terrace Unity Solutions was born.
What began with a single PVS-14 in a basement has grown steadily — first into a garage, then a one-bedroom apartment, and today into nearly 1,000 square feet of dedicated space, including shipping and receiving, office areas, and a clean room equipped with our own Hoffman 126A.
We refuse to compromise quality, whether in the products we assemble or the service we provide. Our mission is to ensure that every customer receives more than just a device — they receive an experience. When someone chooses us, we want them to feel not just like a customer, but like a patron of something larger. We're proud of where we started, and even more excited for where we're going.
