For event programs

Lorrena Black is the Imposter Interrupter™, a retired U.S. Army Major, TEDx speaker, keynote speaker, and workshop presenter. For 25 years, the Army told her exactly what a leader was supposed to look like. She led as who she actually was, and made Major as herself. Today she equips high performers at every level to interrupt the self-doubt that performing creates and build the resilience to lead as themselves through her signature R.A.L.L.Y.™ Method.

Stage introduction

For the emcee to read as written

About 45 seconds

For 25 years, the United States Army told our next speaker exactly what a leader was supposed to look like. Hard. Loud. Not soft, not goofy, and definitely not girly. She led as herself anyway, and retired as a Major. Today she is a TEDx speaker, a Co-Active trained coach, and the creator of the R.A.L.L.Y.™ Method. She has spoken for Ford, Meijer, Comerica Bank, and TEDxDetroit, and she calls herself the Imposter Interrupter, because she has spent her career interrupting the voice that says you do not belong in the room. Please welcome Major Lorrena Black.
