I · Children
Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and one wild week each summer.
A staffed nursery is available during the 11:00 AM worship service for children ages 2 and under. Our nursery volunteers, caring adult women, give you the opportunity to worship knowing your child is in a safe and loving environment. The room is also equipped with a video feed of the service for parents who would like to accompany their children.
Prior to our worship service each morning, Metro offers Bible classes for children of all ages, taught by wonderful members of our church family who are dedicated to nourishing and strengthening the faith of our children. Before the sermon, Pre-K through 4th grade are dismissed to Children's Bible Hour: an active and engaging time in which the children sing, learn a Bible lesson, do crafts, and occasionally enjoy a puppet show.
On Wednesday evenings, children ages 3 through 3rd grade gather to study God's word at their own level, and the upper elementary children grow in their walk with Christ through scripture, games and activities.
For one week each summer, our entire building is transformed into an exciting place for children to learn about God in fun, active, and extraordinary ways.

The teen class meets on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, taught by our Family Life Minister. The Jr. High class meets on Sunday morning, and 7th and 8th graders are welcome to join the teen and young adult class on Wednesday evening.
The lessons are designed to help the teens at Metro own their faith in Christ. It's not something inherited or borrowed from their families; it's a personal commitment to walk with the Lord of the Universe. And to encourage our youth to have a Biblical worldview with God at the center of their lives and their thinking.

Study on Sunday morning. Pick a class on Wednesday night.
Sunday mornings, adults are invited to gather together and study God's word before the morning service. On Wednesday night we have numerous classes for children, teens, young adults, a general study in the auditorium and a ladies' specific class. We have plenty of class options to meet your needs.
Our members aged 50 and above meet monthly as Nifty Over 50, and each year in late September the women are invited to the annual women's retreat: fellowship, shopping, sightseeing, and so much more.
Nifty Over 50 has included

- An evening with a community orchestra

I went to there food pantry today and they were so nice and very gracious!! I hope everyone knows that there are places out there that are willing and able to help those in need, & not just during this pandemic!! Thank you to the ladies that were there and I appreciate your help, even though I didn't know you needed a appointment, they still helped me!!
Love the people here, I appreciate there food pantry that gives good food not just canned nonperishable stuff. You get meats, produce , dairy products ECT. It's been a blessing in my life!
